Chef Danielle first took interest in health and wellness when she was in high school. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition at SUNY Plattsburgh where she also obtained her personal training certification and trained clients at the fitness center on campus. After college, Danielle continued as a personal trainer at a local gym where she was able to apply her knowledge of nutrition to help clients improve their diet for better results. Danielle then shifted her focus to Community Nutrition and went on to work at The Open Door Family Medical Centers WIC Program in Westchester County, helping numerous families, women, infants and children with their nutritional needs and goals. During her time at Open Door, Danielle obtained her certification in Lactation Counseling and became the Breastfeeding Coordinator and Site Coordinator for her agency. After receiving a temporary grant to execute a healthy cooking class for WIC participants, Danielle realized her love of teaching people hands-on about food. She then pursued her culinary career at The Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts in NYC which led to her starting Garden Groove Kitchen LLC. 
She has worked privately in client's homes as well as delivered meals, taught cooking classes at New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, and completed a graduate certificate in Nutrition and Exercise Science from Montclair State University. 
 She is working with families and individuals to create ease, balance and good health in their own kitchens and lives.
